China AIS Data open to public

A couple of month ago, China MSA (China Maritime Safety Administration) has launched a national AIS portal. The platform also integrates port information, tides forecast and meteorological information.

You can get acces to it by using this link: China MSA AIS

easyRESCUE-A A049

The easyRESCUE-A transmits the position of liferaft in distress directly to all AIS receivers within range.

Substantial modification to the equivalent easyRESCUE is the “auto activation” mode. It triggers if the device has complete water contact for more than 2 sec. If the RESCUE-A is activated it repeats a constantly AIS radio signal. Of course the manuel activation by pressing the “ON”-Button is still possible.

easyWATCHBOX A087

With the easyWATCHBOX it is possible to be informed about the most important dangerous exposures in pleasure boating within only one box:

  • CPA alert for collusion potentials
  • AIS S.A.R.T. alert for incoming emergency signals
  • Battery low

To be single handed aboard don’t gives you the time to watch out the chartplotter for danger potentials every minute. In these situations it is very useful to be informed automatically.

easyCPA Alarm A052

The CPA-alarm is an external signal generator for the CPA (Closest Point of Approach)-function and for the acoustic notification of an incoming AIS S.A.R.T emergency telegram.

Functionality
The easyCPA-alarm is designed as an additional equipment to the AIS send/receivers easyTRX2 and easyTRX2-IS and it improves the safety on board.
Together with this external acoustic signal generator it is ensured that previously defined potential dangers are recognised through the CPA-function of the receiver and hence are signalled clearly.
AIS emergency telegrams that were sent are also recognised by activated AIS S.A.R.T and are signalised as well. Thus a temporarily delayed perception through sleep or terminal devices which are turned off is prevented.

The device receives impulses by the easyTRX2 and by the easyTRX2-IS, respectively as soon as the set CPA-function was triggered and turns them into acoustic signals. The easyCPA-alarm has two different signal tones, so that CPA-warnings and AIS S.A.R.T. can be differentiated.

easyCPA³ Alarm A056

The CPA³-alarm combines an acoustic signal generator for a triggered CPA-function and an incoming AIS S.A.R.T. emergency notification with a switch to change to the “silent mode” and an uncovered “PAN PAN”-switch.

This device receives impulses from the easyTRX2 and TRX2-IS, respectively once the set CPA-function has been triggered and turns them into acoustic signals. This also applies to the incoming AIS S.A.R.T emergency notifications. These two acoustic signals differ from one another in order to be able to allocate them more easily.

The “silent mode” switch turns off the transmit function of the connected easyTRX2 or easyTRX2-IS, with the result that no data about the vessel and its position is sent. This notification contains the message that you are having a problem and that you are asking for help. An AIS telegram type 14 is sent.

easyDVB-T A024

Separates the frequency bands for the different applications and amplifies those bands which are not received as well as the nominal frequency band. As a consequence you can receive DVBT Signals (DVBT is identical to?DTT; ATSC;TDT; ISDB ) for your digital receiver television.

easySPLIT OCB A027

The easySPLIT OCB (OCB stand for “operates Class B) is checking whether there is a transmission power from the VHF radio or the Class B AIS receiver to the Antenna. If this is the case the easySPLIT disconnects very fast the other connected units, as there are the AIS receiver and the car radio. If all the units are in reception mode, the units are all connected to the same antenna.

A very fast disconnection is necessary, because the Class B AIS Transceiver do transmit their signal with 2 W power in a very short time. Therefore the used splitter, the easySPLIT OCB must disconnect the other units even faster than the Class B AIS transceiver is giving out ist message. The easySPLIT OCB is disconnecting the other units in faster than 1ms!

easyRESCUE A040-BW-COM

The easyRESCUE-A040-BW-COM enables to display the current GPS position of a person or a life raft in distress on chart plotter or PC screen by means of AIS technologies.

Substantial modification to the equivalent easyRESCUE and easyRESCUE-A with its “auto activation” by means of water contact, this device has got a third activation mode:
a magnetic switch with a ripcord.

If the easyRESCUE-A040-BW-COM is activated once, it repeats a recurring AIS alert radio signal with the GPS position of the victim. Of course the manual activation by pressing the “ON” button is still possible as well as the “water contact triggering function”.

The easyRESCUE has got full approvals of world’s most important institutions, which are the German Federal Maritime and Hydrographic Agency BSH, the US- Federal Communication Commission FCC and the US Coast Guard. By means of this high approving level the easyRESCUE is outstanding in the market for AIS S.A.R.T. in this size.
